Switch Transformations
There are times when the switches we receive to restore have had major damage occur to the point where they should be scrapped. The switch half ring pictured on the left needed to be repaired. Using techniques learned over the years, the ring was plastic welded using the original plastic materials. After the rough weld, the ring was hand sanded, primed, filled, sanded, primed, and painted. At which point , the repair became invisible .
